Whenever screws are to be painted to match the color of a component, e.g. a facade, the question arises as to the appropriate painting technique.
Although in the end only the color of the screw head is important, the complete painting of screws at ROTOVER is the most economical painting process.
Head-only painting is more expensive than complete painting, provided that the number of pieces to be painted is correspondingly high for non-automated painting.
Disadvantages, like a too high lacquer layer application in the power drive of the screw head, are specziel with a powder coating with the head painting usual.
ROTOVER is different: ROTOVER paints screws completely in the spray drum process. The screws are painted as bulk material in heated painting systems with special paint systems. Wood, sheet metal or chipboard screws can be painted very economically in all desired colors. See also the following article.
For metric screws, only special metallic paints are used at ROTOVER due to the thread. These metallic paints captivate with their interesting coloration, but do not apply too thickly, so that the thread mobility is still given. In addition, the power drive is opaque but does not affect the dimensions. After all, the screw should still be tightened firmly afterwards. We do not recommend uni colors such as white, red and blue.
ROTOVER paints metric screws in metallic effects. Screws, such as DIN 7991 or metric lens screws can be painted in lengths up to 70mm.
