Mass-produced small parts are often found in everyday life. Very many of them are painted or coated. But how does the paint actually get on small parts such as the zipper? And how do you achieve that the lacquer is applied in all corners and edges?
The good news is: We can show you, because we do it! ROTOVER Lackiertechnik has been working as a successful contract painter for many years. Our specialty is the painting of bulk small parts in bulk. The process is called drum painting or hot drum painting.
In this efficient and cost-effective process, the small parts to be coated are painted in bulk in a rotating drum system. The drum is operated either hot (hot drum) or without temperature (cold drum), depending on the application.
Spray guns spray the paint or coating material evenly onto the mass-produced small parts that unroll on top of each other. The challenge here is to ensure that the parts do not stick together and that each part gets the right amount of paint as it should.
The alternative to this method is the process of manual application and subsequent spray painting, such as head painting of rivets or screws, which is no longer economical in Europe. In the process of dip painting, the disadvantages of too uneven layer build-up often outweigh the advantages.
ROTOVER paints your mass-produced small parts made of various metals, plastics such as ABS, PPE or glass and wood. Convince yourself and arrange a test painting of your workpieces.
Who can drum paint small parts on a contract basis? ROTOVER - we do it!
