Depending on the component, drum-coated surfaces are nowadays coming ever closer to the appearance of spray-painted parts. As can be seen in the example of the rings shown, the surfaces in the drum coating process are extremely uniform, smooth, brilliant and, in addition, robust against mechanical and chemical influences. ROTOVER uses the barrel-spray process to coat small parts that are in no way inferior to pointed coatings used as overlays or racks, and are also very economical. This is because drum painting eliminates the need for time-consuming, largely manual preparation of the goods to be painted on racks or special painting plates. In addition, a larger quantity can be painted completely from all sides, evenly and all around, in a single pass.

In cooperation with specialized paint manufacturers, drum paints are used which, with the experience of ROTOVER's special painting technology, result in convincing surfaces. The advantage of drum coating over electroplating is the uniformity of the surface. Thus, with ROTOVER barrel plating there are no light and dark areas, no streaks and also no risk of color variations to pre-batches.
As an example, numerous brass color shades can be offered painted in various gradations and gloss levels, or customized based on a customer sample. Other new galvanic color shades are old brass, matt nickel, copper, silver, gold, bronze, aluminum or anthracite.
