They are small and thin. They do an important job. But you're not supposed to see them.
We're talking about fine coupling rods, which are installed as stamped parts in automobiles. The slats serve as drivers for the climate control system in the interior of any car. The purpose of the painting at Rotover is a uniform, black matte paint finish, which of course meets all OEM guidelines in terms of product safety.
ROTOVER manages to paint these thin and flat coupling rods evenly from both sides. In the process, the drivers are coated with an ultra-thin layer of a specially developed paint system. This is done at ROTOVER without the parts sticking together and, of course, without damage or deformation.
The coating is only a few micrometers thin and yet scratch-resistant and elastic. ROTOVER coats the drivers in an economical painting process. Different geometries and lengths are coated in large quantities.
This is another example of an automotive application that has been successfully implemented using ROTOVER's own coating development together with its experience in painting.
